Agreement

This license agreement is between you and [Company name] ("we"), publisher of [product name] ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software, you accept it. If you do not, do not install the Software.

License granted

When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software on up to [number] devices at the same time. You may release a device from your account to activate another one.

Free trial

You may try the Software for free for [14] days on each device. A device is entitled to one trial only, even after reinstalling the Software.

Purchase and refunds

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, under its own terms of sale. Refunds follow [your refund policy, e.g. 14 days, no questions asked]. A refunded or disputed purchase revokes its license.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent or lend your license key, or publish it;
  • copy, modify, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where the law allows it despite this clause;
  • use the Software to build a competing product.

Circumvention of technical measures

The Software checks its license with technical protection measures. You may not remove, disable, bypass or work around them, nor make, publish or distribute any tool, key, patch or modified copy of the Software ("crack") that does so. Doing so ends this license immediately, revokes your license keys without refund, and may lead to legal action, including takedown notices to the sites that host such copies.

Updates and support

We may release updates of the Software. Support is provided by email at [support email address], on a best-effort basis.

Termination

This license ends if you breach it, or when the license is revoked (refund, dispute, account deletion). You must then stop using the Software.

Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license, except in cases where the law does not allow such a limitation.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of [country]. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of [city], unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
